Barton Perry, M.D.


Dr. Barton Perry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, then attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, graduating with his M.D. degree in 1986. He completed a three year residency in Family Practice at the Regional Medical Center, Anniston, and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Barton is also Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is trained in Medical Acupuncture. He is the Medical Director for the Cherokee County Ambulance Service and is an assistant professor of Family Medicine with UAB School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Association of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Barton is a native of Centre and has practiced here since 1989.
